With Darian Weeks out, Logan Urban steps in to face Josh Quinlan at DWCS Season 5, Week 2
There’s been a change to the second Dana White’s Contender Series event of 2021.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Josh Quinlan, who was originally scheduled to compete against Darian Weeks in the main event, will now face Logan Urban this Tuesday at DWCS Season 5, Week 2. MMA DNA first reported the switch.
Weeks announced via Instagram on Saturday night that he was removed from the bout after a member of his team tested positive for COVID-19.
Quinlan has won all five of his pro fights, finishing all of them. The 28-year-old enters his first Contender Series appearance following a trio of stoppages under the LFA banner.
Urban, an Ohio-based fighter, brings in a 5-1 pro record, which includes four straight finish wins since May 2019. “Hulk” is 2-0 thus far in 2021 with victories for Ohio Combat League.
