UFC 268 set for NYC; Gaethje-Chandler, Namajunas-Zhang 2 confirmed
UFC 268 is officially happening at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and it includes a top-tier lightweight bout.
It’s official: UFC 268 will take place at the hallowed Madison Square Garden in New York City. The announcement was made during Saturday’s UFC Vegas 35 broadcast.

What was also confirmed to be part of the card is a top-tier lightweight bout between former interim champion Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler. This is quite a development considering Chandler’s hard stance against taking a COVID-19 vaccine and NYC’s vaccine mandate.
Whether he finally agreed to take the jab or the UFC found a way around it, only the parties involved would know.
Co-headlining the event is a strawweight title rematch between Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili. “Thug Rose” reclaimed the title at UFC 261 in July via head kick knockout in the first round.
Headlining the card is a welterweight title rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. The two first fought in December 2019 with “The Nigerian Nightmare” winning via fifth-round TKO.
UFC 268 happens on November 6th.
