BJ Penn was not a fan of Jake Paul’s antics during his fight with Tyron Woodley last night.

If you’ve been an MMA fan for a long time, you’ll likely remember some of B.J. Penn’s most famous moments. Stopping Caol Uno in 11 seconds. Submitting Matt Hughes to become a multi-division champion. And licking the blood of Joe Stevenson and Sean Sherk off of his gloves after he brutalized them.

Last night, Jake Paul decided to lick his gloves when he was facing off with Tyron Woodley in their boxing match. And BJ was apparently not a fan of the homage.

Penn took to social media to voice his displeasure with Paul following the YouTuber’s split decision victory over Woodley:

“Don’t ever copy me again you f—kin p-ssy, look at my gloves, look at the pillows on your hands 20 years of war!”

Paul didn’t actually lick any blood off a glove, since he didn’t cut Woodley in their matchup. But apparently that was enough for the UFC Hall of Famer, who is probably looking for a payday for himself, to go off.

Penn hasn’t competed in combat sports since a 2019 UFC loss to Clay Guida, his seventh in a row. Paul is now 4-0 as a pro boxer.
