Paul Felder reveals a brief encounter he had with Conor McGregor during the broadcast after the UFC 246 main event ended.

Conor McGregor made a strong statement at UFC 246. After a 15-month absence, “The Notorious” ended that night via a 40-second TKO win over decorated veteran Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

McGregor seemed to have a lot to prove entering the fight. So when he scored the finished the way he did, the loud-talking Irishman immediately hit back at his critics.

“Any one of these little mouthy fools can get it,” McGregor told Joe Rogan during the Octagon interview. “Even that little fool at the desk. All of them. Every single one of them can get it. It does not matter.”

Also present at the broadcast booth that night was Paul Felder, who said McGregor screamed out “F—k you” at him while walking by their table to exit the arena.

“I was there like what? Is he talking about me?” Felder told MMA Fighting in a recent interview. “Some people are saying he was talking about me. Other people were saying he was talking about [Kamaru] Usman or [Jorge] Masvidal.

“At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. It got me plenty of attention even if it wasn’t meant towards me. It doesn’t matter. But we’re having fun with it.”

“The Irish Dragon” previously stated that McGregor should be taken out of the lightweight rankings if he plans to continue to fight at welterweight.

The number six-ranked Felder is scheduled to face number seven-ranked Dan Hooker this weekend in Auckland, New Zealand.
