This is the UFC 268 live blog for Shane Burgos vs. Billy Quarantillo, a featherweight main card fight for Saturday’s fight card at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Burgos and Quarantillo are both unranked in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings but have a reputation for action-packed fights that wow the crowd. Burgos has climbed further up the ladder with more experience under his belt; that’s led to high-profile opposition where he hasn’t always come out ahead. In his two most recent appearances, he’s lost in fights against Josh Emmett and Edson Barboza, respectively.

Quarantillo, a veteran of Dana White’s Contender Series, faces arguably his most marquee opponent to date after a five-fight run in the octagon that’s led to a 4-1 UFC record. Most recently, he stopped vet Gabriel Benitez via third-round TKO to bounce back from a decision loss to Gavin Tucker.
