Jessica-Rose Clark will return to action over a year after her first octagon finish.

Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Clark will face Joselyne Edwards at the UFC’s event on Oct. 23. A location or venue has yet to be officially announced, but the card is expected to take place at the APEX in Las Vegas. ESPN was first to report the booking.

Clark snapped a two-fight skid in her most recent appearance at UFC Vegas 11 this past September with a third-round TKO win over Sarah Alpar. Since then, “Jessy Jess” has been recovering from an ACL injury which required surgery. The 33-year-old is 3-2 with the UFC, which includes victories over Paige VanZant and Bec Rawlings.

Edwards will make her third octagon appearance and will look to bounce back from her first UFC loss to Karol Rosa at February’s UFC Vegas 18 event. “La Pantera” was victorious in her short notice promotional debut against Wu Yanan at UFC Fight Island 7 in January. Edwards was originally scheduled to face Zarah Fairn on Aug. 28 but the fight will no longer happen for undisclosed reasons.
