Conor McGregor shows off new $3.6 million custom-made limited edition Lamborghini yacht
Conor McGregor was touted as the highest-paid athlete in all of sports in 2021 — and he doesn’t mind flaunting that wealth.
The latest example comes from the Irish superstar’s new $3.6 million yacht that just arrived after he was one of the only 63 people lucky enough to score one of the luxury water rides from Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini Tecnomar — nicknamed the “supercar of the sea” —is a 4,000-horsepower yacht powered by a pair of V12 engines weighing 24 tons and sitting at 63-feet long. The yacht can reach speeds of up to 60 knots or nearly 70 miles-per-hour.
Of course the $3.6 million buying price doesn’t include any upgrades, which McGregor surely added to his new boat after purchasing the limited edition yacht. The new yacht was also painted a shade of green similar to the bottles used for McGregor’s Proper No. 12 whiskey, which is a big part of how he reached the top of the Forbes’ highest paid athletes list in 2021.
A day before McGregor received his new yacht, he dropped a not so subtle message on his Instagram for anybody criticizing him in the wake of his second consecutive loss to Dustin Poirier after he suffered a broken leg at the end of the first round in their trilogy fight.
“I wipe my rich ass with your feelings about my work,” McGregor wrote. “I feel nothing for you bums.”
McGregor is currently recovering from a three-plus hour surgery to place a rod into his leg to stabilize the bones after he shattered both his tibula and fibia in the fight with Poirier.
The former two-division UFC champion previously stated he expects to be on crutches for approximately six weeks but it will likely be a year or more before he’ll be able to compete again.
