UFC rankings: Marlon Vera up at bantamweight
Not much happened rankings-wise coming out of the latest UFC Apex event.
The only thing that’s news coming out of UFC Vegas 29 is that the event has caused the least rankings movement since I quit the panel a couple of years ago. The event offered some action and the main event between The Korean Zombie and Dan Ige was awesome. But the ho-hum co-main between Aleksei Oleinik and Serghei Spivac, despite it’s boringness, is the only think thing that rippled rankings-wise, other than Marlon Vera.
Here’s a look at his week’s (brief) changes.
Men’s P4P - No changes.
Heavyweight - Tom Aspinall is up one to 12, bumping Blagoy Ivanov to 13. Spivac enters at 14 (twice, oddly) and is tied with Sergei Pavlovich. Oleinik drops out.
Light Heavyweight - No changes.
Middleweight - No changes.
Welterweight - No changes.
Lightweight - No changes.
Featherweight - No changes.
Bantamweight - No changes.
Flyweight - Vera’s up two after taking out a game Davey Grant. For some reason he switches spots at 15 with Cody Stamann.
Women’s P4P - No changes.
Women’s Bantamweight - No changes.
Women’s Flyweight - No changes.
Women’s Strawweight - No changes.
