Preliminary-card fighters reigned on the list of post-fight bonuses handed out at UFC on ESPN 13.

Unlike many UFC events where the top draws rewarded with a $50,000 performance bonus, Wednesday’s card saw only one main card bout take home an extra check.

UFC on ESPN 13’s main card opener, Mounir Lazzez vs. Abdul Razak Alhassan, was awarded “Fight of the Night” honors. Unfortunately for Alhassan, he was denied the $50,000 because he missed weight.

When it came to “Performance of the Night” bonuses, preliminary card fighters cleaned up. Headliner Khamzat Chimaev made $50,000 for a second-round submission of John Phillips that marked his octagon debut.

Featherweight Lerone Murphy also rewarded for a beatdown of Ricardo Ramos, which snapped the Brazilian’s two-fight winning streak. And light heavyweight Modestas Bukauskas took home extra pay in his UFC debut with a first-round stoppage of Andreas Michailidis that UFC President Dana White lauded for the referee’s willingness to step in.
