UFC 250 video: Sean O’Malley delivers stunning one punch, walk off knockout
UFC 250 became the sugar show on Saturday night thanks to a highlight reel knockout courtesy of Sean O’Malley.
The undefeated bantamweight stayed perfect after connecting with a jaw-dropping right hand that absolutely flattened Eddie Wineland and sent him crashing to the canvas. All O’Malley had to do from there was just turn and walk away as the referee quickly stepped into stop the fight at :154 in the opening round.
“I really do believe I have the best striking in MMA,” O’Malley said after the knockout win.

While O’Malley has shown great grappling in the past as well, he was ready and willing to trade hands with Wineland, who has more than a few knockout wins of his own.
After opening with several kicks that caught Wineland’s attention, the former Dana White Contender Series veteran set up his boxing combinations, which ultimately brought him the set up for the finish.
As Wineland dropped a hand to look for a potential kick, O’Malley went straight ahead with a right hand that connected flush. Wineland’s jaw spun away from his face before he fell unconscious to the ground.
O’Malley celebrated his fourth UFC win and second victory in 2020 as he continued a steady climb up the bantamweight ranks. At 12-0, O’Malley has already become one of the most talked about fighters on the UFC roster and he’ll likely be looking a ranked opponent next time he competes.
