Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson live streams his reaction to video of him getting knocked out by Anthony Pettis at UFC: Nashville, and it’s glorious.

Stephen Thompson is just like everybody else (minus the ‘not trained in mortal combat’ part). With nowhere to go, practicing physical distancing, and the kind of uncertainty our brains aren’t prepared for, now’s as good as any a time to play some video games.

It’s been awhile since I’ve plugged in a controller. I have more experience watching Call of Duty trolls than actively playing the game. But that’s not the case for Thompson, who was kind enough to live stream his Call of Duty habits and his reaction to watching himself get knocked out by Anthony Pettis.

It’s not the first time Thompson has had a theatrical response to the Pettis fight. Directly after UFC: Nashville, he was kind enough to break down the KO while still inside the hospital.

Thompson, like many of the rest of the UFC lineup, does not have a scheduled fight coming up. While Bloody Elbow doesn’t specialize in projections, we’ll monitor the situation as it relates to MMA closely. Yes, we’re here for the Roxanne Modafferi shooting lessons. And no, the BE lineup will not sing the song ‘Imagine’ for you. Stay safe, wash your hands, and don’t be a dick at the grocery store (or resort to organized crime) dear readers!
