Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva will no longer compete at Jorge Masvidal’s bare-knuckle MMA promotion Gamebred Fighting Championship 2 on Sept. 11 after all.

The former UFC heavyweight title contender was scheduled to face Alex Nicholson in a three-round main event headed to Biloxi, Miss., but told Ag. Fight his contract with Khabib Nunrmagomedov’s MMA promotion Eagle Fighting Championship will prevent him from competing later this month.

Gamebred FC officials confirmed to MMA Fighting that “Bigfoot” is out of the card, and Nicholson will now face 99-fight MMA veteran Jonathan Ivey. The co-main event will feature UFC veteran Markus Perez opposite Leo Pla.

Silva said he’s booked to face 2012 Olympian Davit Modzmanshvili in a heavyweight bout at EFC’s upcoming card on Sept. 26 in Georgia.

“There’s probably going to have another [Gamebred Fighting Championship] event in November and we’ll talk,” Silva told Ag. Fight. “They left the doors open and maybe I’ll fight there. I was going to do the main event now, but unfortunately can’t due to contract situations. Everything will work out next time.”

Silva (19-13, 1 no contest) has only won one of his past 13 bouts, including 11 MMA contests plus matches in boxing and bareknuckle boxing. His sole victory was a second-round knockout over Soa Palelei at UFC 190 in 2015. Modzmanshvili (1-1) won the silver medal in wrestling at the 2012 Olympics but was stripped after failing a drug test for turinabol.
