A veteran of 15 octagon appearances, Darren Stewart is no longer on the UFC roster, promotion officials confirmed to MMA Fighting.

Stewart leaves the company after going winless in his past four bouts, which includes defeats to Kevin Holland, Eryk Anders and Dustin Jacoby. The other fight, also against Anders, was deemed a no-contest this past March due to an illegal knee.

“The Dentist” joined the UFC in 2016 after winning back-to-back fights under the Cage Warriors banner in Europe, but failed to secure a single win in his first four bouts with three defeats and one no-contest.

The Englishman, who bounced between middleweight and light heavyweight throughout his run in the company, won five of seven at one point of his UFC career between 2018 and 2020 with victories over the likes of Deron Winn and Eric Spicely.

Stewart posted on social media on Tuesday he’s still planning on returning to 185 pounds in the future.
