UFC Unfiltered filters out mentions of PFL bound Anthony Pettis
Oh, the irony.
The UFC produces a bi-weekly podcast called UFC Unfiltered. But after these recent revelations, they might want to rethink the show’s name.
Hosted by Hall-of-Famer Matt Serra and veteran comedian Jim Norton, the podcast mostly revolves around analyses and fighter interviews. One of the recent episodes seemed to have touched on Anthony Pettis’ decision to sign with the Professional Fighters League as one of its 155-pound competitors.
But as this screenshot of what appears to be editing notes tells us, the powers that be didn’t look pleased about these discussions. This little gem was caught by MMA Fighting’s Alexander K. Lee (H/T MMA Mania).

After nine long years with the UFC, the 33-year-old Pettis decided to part ways with the company in December. He briefly entertained the idea of a rematch against Tony Ferguson but ended up choosing to sign with PFL.
“Showtime” last fought on the December 19 card against Alex Morono. He won by unanimous decision to mark the final fight on his contract.
