A.J. Agazarm vs. Jonathan Quiroz set for Bellator 228
Multi-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion A.J. Agazarm will look to pick up the second win of his young professional MMA career against Jonathan Quiroz at Bellator 228 in September. Bellator officials confirmed the matchup on Saturday afternoon
Agazarm (1-1) most recently secured his first win under the Bellator banner in the form of an impressive first-round rear-naked choke win over Jacob Landin at Bellator 224. Prior to this he dropped a lackluster decision in his pro debut to Jesse Roberts at Bellator 214.
Quiroz (3-3), who will be making his Bellator debut, most recently snapped a two fight losing streak with TKO over Julian Baez in May.
Bellator 228 is set to go down on Sept. 28 inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. With this latest addition, here is how the entire card stands:
