Dan Hooker threatens to ‘f—k’ up Wale, but rapper says ‘you wouldn’t get one punch’ off

Dan Hooker says he would beat up Wale, but the rapper insists Hooker would not get off a single strike.

Dan Hooker might have lined up his next opponent in rapper Wale.

Wale is a big fan of Israel Adesanya, but he has little love for Adesanya’s close friend and teammate Hooker. It all started on Wednesday evening when the “Bad” rapper pitched a movie premise to Adesanya.

Hooker, 29, took it upon himself to insult Wale. “What is a Wale?” Hooker asked Adesanya, probably to the chagrin of the hip-hop artist’s 5.85 million Twitter followers. “Mind your business,” Wale replied.

Things only escalated from there with Wale posting a photo of Hooker eating a jab from Edson Barboza at UFC Milwaukee in December. “Aaaahhhhh I googled....100% would f—k [you] up,” Hooker threatened. Wale had other ideas. “You wouldn’t get one punch [off] boy,” the rapper assured. “Go make a Creatine shake [and] mind your business, beloved.”

Another Twitter user wondered how Wale would take on Hooker. “Imagine [you] thinkin’ my trunk don’t open.” Popping one’s trunk usually suggests the person has a weapon, typically a gun, in the trunk of their vehicle.

The back-and-forth continued with Hooker accusing Wale of repeatedly posting photos of the lightweight fighter. Towards the end of the exchange, Wale told another Twitter user he was “checking to see if it’s necessary” to jump Hooker.
