UFC 268 press conference staredowns
The headliners of UFC 268 took center stage on Thursday night and faced off for cameras after a press conference in support of the pay-per-view event on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
The combatants were largely respectful until the main event, when UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman shoved Colby Covington before their rematch. The two spent most of the press conference jawing back and forth, exchanging insults and getting increasingly more personal.
In the co-main event, strawweight champ Rose Namajunas rematches ex-champ Weili Zhang. And the pay-per-view opener features fellow one-time title challengers Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje as they face off to potentially determine the next lightweight to challenge for the title. Both sets of fighters faced off without incident.
There are a total of 14 fights on the card, with prelims kicking off on UFC Fight Pass at 6:00 p.m. ET. Check out the full staredowns from the UFC 268 pre-fight press conference in the video above.
