Yoel Romero may have suffered a loss in his Bellator debut but he still went home with the biggest paycheck out of all the fighters on the card.

The former UFC title contender dropped a split decision to Phil Davis in the Bellator 266 main event but his salary was unaffected by the outcome. According to the salaries for the event released by the California State Athletic Commission on Wednesday, Romero earned a flat $150,000 fee for his fight against Davis.

It was Romero’s first appearance for the Viacom-owned promotion after exiting the UFC last year.

As for Davis, he was tied for the second highest paid fighter on the card after he earned $100,000 for his win over Romero. Davis also earned a flat fee for his performance without any win bonus being added.

Neiman Gracie also went home with a $100,000 payday for his stunning knockout over Mark Lemminger as the Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace showed off his powerful hands to get the win. Gracie did not receive a win bonus for his fight.

Further down the card, Ben Parrish earned $20,000 for his shocking upset victory with a knockout over highly touted Bellator prospect Christian Edwards. Parrish made $10,000 to show with another $10,000 for the victory.
