Mayweather vs. Paul: Twitter reacts to Logan Paul going the distance with Floyd Mayweather

There was no doubt of the better boxer in the eight-round exhibition boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul, but Paul pulled off a massive moral victory by going the distance with the boxing legend.

There were no judges, so Mayweather’s strategic dominance couldn’t be certified, per the rules of the exhibition match. But knockouts were allowed, and Mayweather wasn’t able to knock out Paul on Sunday at Hard Rock Casino in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Paul, who weighed in at 189.5 pounds, 34.5 heavier than Mayweather, used his size to negate his infinitely more experienced opponent’s technical skills. As the fight wore on, the damage of repeated body shots of Mayweather could be seen in his lowered hands and grimacing face. But he survived, and that was more than anyone expected.
