Lance Palmer, Bubba Jenkins get new opponents for PFL 4

Ryan Loco, PFL

Reigning PFL featherweight champion Lance Palmer and Bubba Jenkins—the man who recently defeated Palmer—have new opponents in their second regular-season matchups.

PFL officials revealed on Tuesday that Lazar Stojadinovic and Anthony Dizy will not compete at PFL 4 for undisclosed reasons and will no longer be a part of the 145-pound field. With the scratches, Palmer will now face Jesse Stirn (11-4), while Jenkins meets UFC veteran Bobby Moffett (13-5-1) at the June 10 event.

Palmer, a two-time $1 million champion, had his 11-fight winning streak snapped by Jenkins during the upset filled PFL 1 season opener in April. “The Party” now faces the 29-year-old Stern who is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Reginald Allen in April at CFFC 95.

Jenkins will look to extend his winning streak to five fights against his short notice replacement opponent. Moffett makes his first appearance since parting ways with the UFC, where he was winless in three appearances against Chas Skelly, Bryce Mitchell and Enrique Barzola after earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in in August 2018.

PFL 4 will be headlined by a lightweight matchup between former UFC champion Anthony Pettis and Alex Martinez, and will also feature the MMA debut of world champion boxer Claressa Shields as she faces Brittney Elkin.
