Kyle Crutchmer vs. Levan Chokheli added to Bellator 260 on June 11

Former Oklahoma State wrestler Kyle Crutchmer will return to action at Bellator 260 when he faces undefeated knockout artist Levan Chokheli on June 11 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

Bellator officials confirmed the news with MMA Fighting on Tuesday.

The Bellator 260 card will be headlined by welterweight champion Douglas Lima taking on Yaroslav Amasov with fans in attendance for the first time since the ViacomCBS-owned promotion returned during the pandemic.

With a perfect 9-0 record, Chokheli signed with Bellator this past September and he’ll look to continue his dominant run after finishing all of his previous fights by knockout or TKO. Chokheli has only had one fight make it out of the first round since turning professional back in 2016.

Crutchmer will seek to add the first loss to Chokheli’s record as the former collge wrestler looks to build upon his own 5-1 record, which includes a pair of wins under the Bellator banner. Training out of the American Kickboxing Academy, Crutchmer is the latest standout from Oklahoma State’s prestigious wrestling program to make waves in mixed martial arts and he’ll seek to add another win to his resume when he clashes with Chokheli on June 11.

Bellator officials also confirmed a middleweight fight being added to the card as Taylor Johnson takes on Lance Wright. Johnson, who submitted former NCAA champion Ed Ruth in his Bellator debut, will face Wright as he makes his first appearance with the promotion.

Chokheli vs. Crutchmer and Johnson vs. Wright are the latest additions to the growing Bellator 260 card, which will also feature Paul Daley taking on Jason Jackson in an intriguing welterweight showdown as well.
