Jake Paul continues to troll the MMA universe.

3-0 pro boxer Jake Paul was at UFC 261 this past weekend taking in the festivities (and getting into it with Daniel Cormier). Paul was also there to watch his friend and training partner Jorge Masvidal compete for the welterweight title.

Unfortunately for him, and Gamebred, Kamaru Usman would continue to pad his resume as the greatest welterweight of his generation, knocking Masvidal out cold in the second round.

On seeing his friend knocked silly, Paul seemingly decided he wanted a piece of that action. “Challenge accepted,” he wrote on Twitter. “[Usman], if your boss Dana gives you permission to box me and make more money than you ever have, let me know and we can lace them up. I promise it will be your biggest pay day.”

However, Usman doesn’t seem interested in stepping into the ring with the YouTuber. “Keep making your money young man, and stay on that side,” he responded. “I ain’t no Disney kid and I don’t play fighting.”

Earlier this month Paul took on his most legitimate competition to date, in the form of a retired Ben Askren (who had a 0-0 boxing record at the time). Paul, who is much bigger and younger than Askren and seems to have taken boxing training somewhat seriously, was able to finish Askren inside the first round.

Before pasting Askren Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson (an 0-0 boxer) and a TKO’d Ali Eson Gib (an 0-0 boxer).

With Paul’s last two fights reporting raking in millions we will of course see him back in action in the near future. It seems unlikely that a UFC star in their prime, with brutal KOs on his record, will end up opposite Paul. The content creator is far more likely to pick someone he can beat so keep these gravy train rolling on.

Meanwhile, Paul’s older brother Logan Paul has had his bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. scheduled for June 6.
