UFC welterweight Mike Perry was caught on video punching an older man after an apparent dispute at a restaurant.

Perry, 28, punched the man after a verbal dispute as an unknown woman tried to lead him out of the restaurant. Perry told the man, “I’ll knock your old ass out” before throwing a punch that appeared to knock the man down. Patrons of the bar can be heard gasping, and security appears to intervene as Perry sits outside on a bench.

Police in Lubbock, Texas, confirmed to MMA Fighting a man matching Perry’s full name – Michael Joseph Perry – and date of birth was involved in an alleged assault on July 7 at Table 82 in Lubbock, Texas, where Perry’s girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez lives and where the UFC welterweight trained for his most recent fight.

Perry took to Twitter as the video went viral. His manager Malki Kawa did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to police, there were three victims in the alleged assault. Perry was questioned on scene, but not arrested. The charge listed on Perry’s record was Class A assault, a misdemeanor. Perry will be required to show up in court and could face a fine of $500.

TMZ reported the man Perry allegedly punched was transported to the hospital. Witnesses said the fighter was drinking berry Mojitos and punched an employee after being asked to leave the restaurant.

Several times during the video, Perry shouts a racial slur as cooler heads try to intervene, and Perry yells at the woman who led him out, “You ain’t on my side, b*tch!” Perry’s girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez, appears to walk out of the establishment just before the scene turns physical.

Video of the incident surfaced on Wednesday night via Twitter user MMA Eejit.

The alleged assault is not the first time Perry has been caught fighting outside the cage on video. He posted a video where he knocked out a man outside another bar after an altercation.

Perry was most recently seen in the octagon at UFC on ESPN 12, where he outpointed Mickey Gall to rebound from his first knockout loss in a fight against Geoff Neal this past December. Perry was cornered by Gonzalez in the Gall fight and said he chose to do so because he only wanted his girlfriend to share in the glory of his win.
