UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez 2 fight card

A look at the current card for the this weekend’s Fight Island event on July 18th on ESPN+.

The UFC will continue on in July with four events on Fight Island (aka Yas Island in Abu Dhabi), and the third one will feature a title fight. This Saturday night, Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez will run it back to see who can claim the vacant flyweight title. The first time they met, Figueiredo didn’t make weight so he couldn’t win the title. He did win the fight though, after a controversial clash of heads, so that didn’t really solve anything.

Now, we’ll see if we can get a new champion for the 125-pound division.

In addition to that, the co-main event will take place in the middleweight division with Jack Hermansson taking on former title challenger Kelvin Gastelum.
