UFC 250’s co-main event was a bantamweight bout between Cody Garbrandt and Raphael Assuncao. The former UFC champion showed a lot more patience and fought to his ability. Eventually he scored a very brutal face plant KO

Round 2 - Assuncao tried to spin right as Cody jumped in on him. They scrambled back to their feet. Body kick from Assuncao. Body kick from Assuncao. Body kick from Garbrandt. Capoeira kick from Assuncao is nowhere near Garbrandt. Right lands for Assuncao. They both throw kicks at the same time. They trade in the pocket. Assuncao stuffs a shot. Garbrandt misses with an uppercut. Inside leg kick from Assuncao. Garbrandt with an overhand right that knocks down Assuncao! Assuncao said he just slipped. Sweeping low leg kick from Garbrandt.
