Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC on ESPN card, where Tyron Woodley is favored to get past Gilbert Burns in the main event.

The UFC is back this Saturday, May 30th, from their APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The night will be capped off in the welterweight division when the former champ Tyron Woodley, squares off with the promotion’s #6 ranked 170-pounder, Gilbert Burns. For the co-main event, the big boys will be on deck when the UFC’s #12 ranked heavyweight, Blagoy Ivanov, collides with the #13 ranked, Augusto Sakai. Bloody Elbow is here to provide the betting info for this event.

In the UFC APEX main event, oddsmakers are liking them some Tyron Woodley. The former welterweight king is sporting a favored moneyline of -155, and why shouldn’t he be the betting favorite? He’s much more battle tested against elite talent than his opposition is, he’s the better athlete, and he has tons more experience in championship rounds.

This leaves Gilbert Burns in the underdog slot. His associated moneyline is currently sitting around the +145 mark. There’s not a lot of meat on that dog bone, and that could be because Burns is the winner of five-straight, including a recent knockout of Demian Maia this past March. Yes, Gilbert just slept someone, but his ace up the sleeve has always been his Jiu-Jitsu prowess. How that specialty stacks up against the grappling capabilities of Woodley is quite intriguing.

The over/under for this 25-minute main event has been set at 4.5 rounds. The ‘Under’ option is holding a -160 moneyline, with a +145 comeback on the ‘Over.’ Although the over/under props have been assessed at 4.5 rounds, the bookies are still banking on this fight ending early. The exotic bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ owns a strong favored moneyline of -195, with the ‘Fight goes to decision’ wager existing around +160.

We’ve got a pick’em fight for the UFC APEX co-main event. Both Augusto Sakai and Blagoy Ivanov hold minus lines of around -110. These heavyweights obviously have fight-ending power (duh), but more importantly they both have big-boy chins. Neither man has ever been knocked out, and Ivanov has actually survived being stabbed in the chest with a knife at one point in his life. Maybe the term ‘tough’ is a bit of a dull understatement. This is likely the biggest reason why the oddsmakers are projecting this match to go the distance. Gamblers can lay the price on the prop ‘Fight goes to decision’ for -185, or take the price on ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ for +155.
