It was a rough night in Florida for Gabriel Benitez.
Not only did “Moggly” end up on the wrong end of the scorecards of his lightweight bout with Omar Morales at UFC Jacksonville, but he also left the octagon with a nasty leg injury.
The UFC Jacksonville broadcast team warned viewers before showing a slow-mo, up-close look at an open gash on Benitez’s shin, and the fighter shared his own detailed shot of the wound on his Instagram account.

Contender Series vet Morales picked up his second UFC win and extended his unbeaten streak to 10 fights. Benitez has now lost back-to-back octagon bouts.
