Melissa Gatto, Julia Avila slated to fight at UFC 239

Melissa Gatto will get another try to make her UFC debut this year.

Originally scheduled to fight at UFC 237 before an infection sidelined her, Gatto will now face Julia Avila in a bantamweight contest at UFC 239 on July 6 in Las Vegas, the UFC announced Wednesday.

Avila, who is 6-1, will also make her UFC debut at the event when she faces Gatto (6-0).

Jon Jones will defend his light heavyweight title against Thiago Santos in the main event.
