‘I’m back!’ - Joanna’s face is healing well, two weeks after UFC 248

Two weeks after UFC 248, and the swelling and bruising is almost gone.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s UFC 248 war with Weili Zhang left her with a disturbingly huge hematoma on her head.

Days after the event, the former strawweight champion was seen with heavy discoloration on her face. A week after the fight, Jedrzejczyk provided an update on her recovery, saying that the swelling has gone down but her face and chest was still badly bruised from the contest.

Two weeks later, and Jedrzejczyk seems to be healing well, taking to Instagram and showing that the bruising has mostly gone down. There’s still a little bit of discoloration from the bruises, but it certainly seems like she’s on her way to looking like her normal self again.

Check out a couple of photos below, where the former strawweight queen used hashtags to say “I’m back!”

“What’s up?! ,” she wrote on Instagram. “Still fighting with jet lag so I woke up at noon But did a nice cardio run - 7km, two online interviews and I’m ready to do my studies online. Keep on busy during quarantine. Be safe guys!✊ Love ya all.❤️ Thank u for the support. Talk to ya soon. How are ya feeling? ”

It’s still a bit early, but Jedrzejczyk has already mentioned being open to a rematch with Zhang.
